About Tidyee

    The people behind the clean.

Tidyee is a family business that has been in the cleaning trade since 1946. Today we look after offices, clinics, shops and hospitality venues across London, Manchester and Norwich, with more than 20 years spent specialising in the kind of commercial and clinical work we do now.

The way the big cleaning contractors tend to work is familiar to most people: you sign up impressed, and six months later you can't get anyone on the phone, the team keeps changing, and standards quietly slip. We've built Tidyee to be the opposite. Small enough to care, organised enough to be relied on.

    How we got here

It started in 1946, with a window cleaning round.

It started in 1946 with William and a window cleaning round. He built it up the way good businesses grow, one satisfied customer recommending him to the next, and over the decades that single round became a family cleaning company.

For the last 20+ years we've focused on what we're best at today: commercial and clinical cleaning for offices, workplaces and healthcare practices. We now clean 500+ workplaces a day, but the thing that built the business in the first place hasn't changed. People stay with us because we turn up, we're consistent, and when something's wrong we sort it without a fuss.

    What we believe

Three things shape how we work.

Look after the people who do the work

We pay the Real Living Wage, we train properly, and we treat our cleaners as the skilled, trusted people they are. Cleaners who are looked after stay longer, and that's exactly why your team sees the same familiar faces rather than a different stranger every week.

    Be easy to reach

Every client gets a named account manager and a direct line to senior management. No call centres, no ticket numbers.

Do right by the places we work in

We use eco-certified products and cut single-use plastic wherever we can, so a cleaner office doesn't come at the environment's expense.

    Who we work with

Four kinds of space, one standard.

We clean four kinds of space, and each one asks for something slightly different. Workplaces, offices, co-working hubs and corporate HQs, need a discreet, dependable daily clean. Healthcare, GP surgeries, dental and private clinics, needs infection control and audit-ready records. Retail needs a spotless shop floor before the doors open. And hospitality venues need front-of-house and communal spaces kept fresh and presentable for guests. What ties them together is the same thing: getting the details right, every single day.
