Measure the carpeted areas
Separate carpet from other flooring and identify the rooms included. Give the approximate area and tell the team whether furniture will remain in place.
Describe the material and condition
Share the carpet type if known, any care instructions and the main concerns. Stain treatment and specialist methods need to be assessed; complete stain removal cannot be assumed.
Include access and drying time
Agree parking, equipment access, water or power requirements and when people need to use the rooms again. Furniture moving and out-of-hours work should be included in the scope where needed.
