Commercial deep cleaning, after-builders and end-of-tenancy cleans

A regular clean keeps a building tidy. A deep clean resets it. Tidyee carries out one-off and scheduled deep cleans for offices, clinics and shops, plus after-builders cleans when a fit-out finishes and end-of-tenancy cleans when you hand a unit back to the landlord. We have more than 25 years in commercial cleaning, and our teams are DBS-vetted, directly employed and paid the Real Living Wage.

What a commercial deep clean covers

Daily cleaning focuses on the surfaces people touch and see. Over months, dust, grease and limescale build up in the places a nightly clean can't reach in the time available. A deep clean deals with those areas properly, room by room, with the right equipment and enough hours on site.

Before we start, we walk the building with you and agree a written scope, so you know exactly what is included and what it will cost.

    • High-level dusting of ledges, vents, light fittings and pipework
    • Kitchen degreasing, including inside fridges, microwaves, ovens and dishwashers
    • Washroom descaling of taps, toilets, urinals, tiles and grout
    • Machine cleaning of hard floors and carpets
    • Internal glass, partitions and door frames
    • Behind and under desks, cabinets and appliances
    • Sanitising touch points such as handles, switches, lift buttons and handrails

    After-builders cleaning

Construction dust gets everywhere, and it keeps settling for days after the trades leave. Our after-builders cleans happen in stages: a rough clean to remove debris and packaging, a detailed clean of every surface, then a final 'sparkle' clean just before handover or move-in.

We remove paint splashes, adhesive and plaster from glass, frames and floors, vacuum dust out of vents and trunking, and leave the space ready for staff or customers on day one. We work with fit-out contractors, project managers and landlords, and can work out of hours to meet tight handover dates.

    End-of-tenancy cleaning for commercial premises

Most commercial leases require you to return the premises in a clean condition, and a poor clean can cost you money in dilapidation claims. We clean to a standard that stands up to a landlord's inspection: kitchens, washrooms, floors, glass, skirting, doors and fixtures, with photographs on completion if you need evidence.

If you are moving into new premises, we can deep clean the new site too, so your move is handled by one team.

When to book a deep clean

Many clients book a deep clean once or twice a year as part of their regular contract, often over the summer or Christmas break. Others book one after an illness outbreak, before an audit or client visit, after a refurbishment, or when they switch cleaning company and want a clean starting point. Clinics and dental practices often schedule deep cleans around infection-control audits.

Not sure how often you need one? Our free annual deep clean planner on the blog sets out a sensible schedule for most workplaces.

    How we work

Every deep clean has a named supervisor, a written method statement and risk assessment, and COSHH data sheets for the products we use. We use plant-based and enzyme-based products wherever they do the job, and specialist chemistry only where it is needed. We are a BICSc member and SafeContractor approved, and we carry full public liability insurance.

Prices depend on the size of the site, its condition and the hours needed. Our rates start from £20 per hour, and we always give a fixed quote after the site visit, so there are no surprises.

    Common questions

How long does a deep clean take?
A small office of around 2,000 sq ft usually takes one day with a team of two or three. Larger sites or after-builders cleans can take several days. We confirm timings in your quote.
Can you deep clean outside working hours?
Yes. We regularly work evenings, overnight and at weekends to avoid disruption.
Do I need to be on site?
Only for the initial walk-round. After that we can work with key-holding arrangements or your facilities team.
