Sanitary bin services
Under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, employers must provide suitable means of disposing of sanitary products in washrooms used by women. We supply, install and service sanitary bins on a regular schedule, swapping full units for clean, sanitised ones.
Every service is recorded, and you receive waste transfer notes for your records, so you can show compliance if asked.
- Sanitary bins in all suitable cubicles
- Nappy bins for baby-changing facilities
- Medical and sharps bins for clinics and first-aid rooms, through licensed partners
- Air fresheners, hand-dryer and consumables options
Waste and recycling as part of your daily clean
Our cleaning teams empty bins, separate recycling, replace liners and take waste to your building's collection point every visit. We follow the rules on separating recyclable waste at work, and we can help you set up clearly labelled stations for general waste, mixed recycling, glass and food waste.
Good separation lowers your collection costs and makes it easier to report on sustainability. Our sustainability page explains how we cut waste in our own operations.
Collections through licensed carriers
If you don't have a collection contract, or you're unhappy with the one you have, we can arrange general, recycling and confidential waste collections through registered waste carriers. You get one point of contact, and we make sure the paperwork is in order.
For clinics, we arrange clinical waste collections that follow the relevant healthcare waste guidance, with consignment notes kept on file.
Your duty of care
UK law requires businesses to store waste safely, use registered carriers and keep waste transfer notes for at least two years. Getting this wrong can lead to fines. We keep it simple: we explain what you need, make sure the right containers are in place, and provide the paperwork. GOV.UK has a clear summary of the rules if you want more detail.

Common questions
- How often are sanitary bins changed?
- Most offices use a four-weekly service. Busier washrooms may need fortnightly or weekly changes. We'll recommend a frequency based on headcount.
- Do I get paperwork?
- Yes. You receive waste transfer notes for every service, which you should keep for at least two years.
- Can you take over from our current provider?
- Yes. We'll check your existing contract end date and arrange a smooth handover.
